01
Measure before you demolish
Before we change anything we crawl the old site, export its search performance and list which pages bring in visits and enquiries. Older sites often have a handful of pages doing most of the work. Those pages are kept, improved and redirected with care.
02
Redirect mapping
Every old address that matters is mapped to its new equivalent with a permanent redirect. Skipping this step is the most common reason a redesign leads to a fall in enquiries, and it is entirely avoidable.
03
Keep what works, fix what does not
A redesign is a chance to cut pages nobody reads, merge thin pages into stronger ones and rewrite the copy that has drifted out of date. We bring the structure up to date without discarding the reputation the old site earned.
04
Launch and watch
We launch at a quiet time, check the redirects and forms on the day, then watch Search Console for the following weeks to catch crawl errors early.
