Case studies
Website projects for Coventry and Warwickshire businesses, described by sector. We do not name clients or publish headline percentages.
Most of our clients sell to other businesses or serve a local market, and many prefer not to be named on a supplier's website. So we describe each project by the type of business, the problem it had, what we did and what changed, in plain terms.
We do not quote invented uplift figures. Where a result is described, it is the kind of change the business itself noticed: more relevant enquiries, less time spent answering the same questions, or a site the team can finally update themselves.
01 / Automotive supply chain
A tier-two machining supplier in east Coventry
- Problem
- The firm had a decade-old site that said almost nothing about its capability. Buyers asking for quotes were being sent PDFs by email because the website could not answer basic questions.
- What we did
- We wrote capability pages for each process and material, added a sector page for EV and powertrain work, and built a quote form that accepts drawings.
- Outcome
- The kind of result we aim for: buyers arriving already knowing what the firm can do, and fewer back-and-forth emails before a quote.
02 / EV and battery R&D
A university-connected battery start-up
- Problem
- A small team spun out of research work needed a credible site ahead of a funding round and had about three weeks.
- What we did
- A focused five-page site: technology overview in plain English, team, partners, news and careers, with a simple content system they could update after the round.
- Outcome
- A site that looks like the serious company it is, delivered in time for the announcement, and easy for a non-technical person to update.
03 / Logistics
A regional haulier near Rugby
- Problem
- The business struggled to recruit drivers and warehouse staff. The careers page was a single paragraph and an email address.
- What we did
- A rebuilt careers section with role pages, shift patterns, pay ranges where the company was happy to share them, and a mobile application form.
- Outcome
- A clearer route for applicants who search on their phones, and fewer incomplete applications for the office to chase.
04 / Hospitality
A family-run café and bar near the cathedral
- Problem
- Visitors to the cathedral quarter could not find the business on Maps and the website had no menu.
- What we did
- A new single-page site with menu, opening times and booking, plus a cleaned-up Google Business Profile with proper categories and photographs.
- Outcome
- Better visibility for people searching nearby, and a site the owners update themselves when the menu changes.
05 / Classic car restoration
A restoration workshop in Warwickshire
- Problem
- Years of excellent work were documented only on social media, which made it hard for new customers to see the range of projects.
- What we did
- A project gallery organised by marque and type of work, with short write-ups, and a booking-enquiry form for assessments.
- Outcome
- A portfolio that does the selling, and enquiries that come with the right details attached.
01
How every project is approached
The sectors differ, but the method is the same. We start with what the customer needs to find, plan the pages around that, design and build lean, and measure after launch.
- A written page plan agreed before design.
- Wireframes tested on phone and desktop.
- Copy that says specifically what the business does.
- Forms tested end to end, with enquiries sent to the right person.
- Speed, accessibility and structured data checked before launch.
- A handover document and training.
02
What we measure after launch
Enquiries from the site and which pages they came from, search impressions and clicks for the terms that bring work, Google Business Profile actions for local businesses, and Core Web Vitals. We review these with you after the first month and again after three.
